Trick or Treat?

We had a great Halloween last night. The weather was on our side which helped so much (13 degrees!). I had left work early to get home in time to prep things for the kiddies - at 5:10pm there were already kids out in the street! I rushed to get the pumpkin outside and leaves cleaned off the stairs etc. We had a quick dinner and got Simon out by 6:15pm. We're very lucky to live on probably one of the best Halloween streets in N.D.G. There are a lot of young children on our street so almost every house gives out candy. Some go all out with lights and props, costumes and music. Simon loved it all. He was a very good boy and held my hand the whole time, didn't run across the street and said thank you to everyone who gave him candies. He did try to sneak a couple extra by serving himself to some of the bowls.

Here is he is as a horsie (forgive the redeye, I haven't had the chance to Photoshop these yet).

For some reason, seeing him from the back makes it even funnier.

He made off with an impressive haul. He had a great time sorting through everything and we let him have a treat or two before raiding the bowl ourselves. This was taken after raid #1 (where the Wunderbars and Crispy Crunch were consumed by Mommy).

Let the pigouts begin!!!!
